Just got into the wet shaving, so as a beginner myself - I can certainly recommend this kit to other beginners. I am very happy with the quality, and the investmemt was well worth what is included. After my first use, I can definatley say that I will not be going back to cartridge razors. I would recommemd that other beginners watch wet shqving videos on youtube before shaving - lots of great tips to make your experience top notch.

I had been using a cheap Target-bought safety razor, and using the one on this kit made a HUGE difference! I used the same blade I had in the old razor and my shave was SO much smoother, easier, and with much less razor burn. I don't know how much difference this specific soap made, but the razor definitely played a role to make my shaving experience better.

Only time will tell how durable the brush is. But in terms of the razor, the scent of the soap, and presentation of all products in the kit, the five stars are well earned.

very nice starter kit

replace the razor...it won't last...it's a threaded bolt holding it together so the only way to change to blade is to remove the handle /stem completely....not a fan of this....but otherwise....it's reasonably nice kit...the bag...the stand and bowl ...More

I added some pre-shave oil and after shave lotion (same scent, DON’T mix scents) and it’s the ultimate shave set.

I will never go back to cartridge razors

I love this set, all my life I had shaved with cartridge razors. I could not shave everyday, because I use to get a lot of ingrown hairs and irritation. I went ahead and got this kit, I m going to be honest and that. I will never go back to cartridge razors, I have been shaving everyday. I do 3 passes, everytime I get a (BBS) Baby Butt Soft. My wife loves it too lol, now I know why one of my Grandpa’s still wet shaves. It took me 2 days to get the hang of this, At first I did get some nicks. I recommend you watch some YouTube videos first, its a little bit longer but its well worth it. Now I want to try A straight Razor lol. I highly recommend this, if you suffer from irritation and ingrown hairs. Now I shave everyday and love it.
