This kit cannot be washed in its whole; only clean it with a clean brush. If you could manage the assembly, you could also raise the cutting head to wash the head.

Honestly it does what it should for a beginner like myself. I learned a lot with this I’ve owned it for half a year or more and can say it’s been more good than bad with it. Here is a photo of my hair cut yesterday and I can say I give myself the hair cut I always get except for free now 😎 learn how to use the guards and get yourself a trimmer for lineups and to zero gap the fades! I picked these up on prime day as they had good reviews and lots of constructive feedback. Everyone was right in the fact that these things are solid, reliable and deliver a nice clipper cut. I'm no barber by any means and trust me I tried an old flowbee on me and the kids to near no effect other than an unexplainable fear of vacuums by my youngest... Anyhow....back to these clippers.... they come with a small set of guards. I wound up picking up a set of whal clipper combo of guards and they fit perfectly on this one. Great battery life, and I suspect these things will last for at least a few years worth of hair cuts if needed. Understandably, I would much prefer a proper haircut when that is an option again!

After all the clippers sold out in stores during the shelter in place orders, I've been cutting my husbands hair with beard trimmers and each time took at least an hour to ensure an even cut. These clippers arrived fully charged out of the box and I was able to cut the same head of hair, same style, in under 15 minutes. Looking forward to learning how to give a good fade, its been saving us time and money. Lifesaver

So I’ve had the clipper for two weeks and have cut my hair twice and I must say for 55 dollars these are amazing. The clipper is made out of metal not plastic and the blade looks like stainless steel. It’s got a nice weight to it and the cordless factor is so nice especially cutting your own hair. Battery life is great I’ve done two cuts and have 75 percent left off the factory charge. Don’t be afraid to buy these they blow adorable brand name clippers out of the water.
