Great boots

My wife made me get some warm boots since we moved from Florida back to Ohio. The temps and snows can be brutal in northern Ohio being so close to Lake Erie. These are great boots and not heavy weight so comfortable to wear. Worth every penny!

Warm dry feet are better than cold and wet feet

The boots fit well. I was very close to the next size up so I went larger and it is just sprightly and allows room for additional so packs. If I am standing still in snow, my toes still get a bit cold but virtually any amount of walking warms them up...More

If I am standing still in snow, my toes still get a bit cold but virtually any amount of walking warms them up. The rest of my feet stay really comfortable. They boots are easy to take on and off as well. I would buy them again!

Good for dealing with heavy snow

I love these boots, because they are so easy to slip on and slip off when I have to go outside to deal with heavy snow, they give good traction,and they keep my feet warm and dry. This is my second winter in upstate New York, and they are my go to boot for heavy snow scenarios. While they are big and clunky, I can still drive in them, and my feet are comfortable, and well supported. As big and clunky, however, I would not go hiking in them. I use lace-up boots for that.

Overall the boot did what I bought it for, something warm and snow proof to slip on quickly without having to tie laces for quick trips out of the house. They are comfortable and somewhat warm but you will not be able to walk long distances in these boots that’s just not what they were made for. As far as the warmth I am not sure how they are rating the -40 warmth. Used these ice fishing and it was -12 outside. I was out for about 3 hours and at this point my feet were totally numb and painful. Granted I was standing on the ice which may have sucked more heat away as well as not moving so I guess 3 hours is pretty good but I can’t imagine them being warm for long at -40. Again overall for a slip on warm chore boot or for deeper snow these are great

Husband loves these boots

My husband has worn this brand for years. Only reason why we replaced them is because the insert wore down after years of use. We live in New England and have some really cold , snowy days . Husband loves the boots for the great traction and warm .

I use these primarily when I'm clearing snow from my driveway and sidewalks. They are easy to put on and take off and they are warm, certainly warm enough for what I use them for. Clearing snow takes me anywhere from 1 to 2 hours and my feet stay warm. Winters here typically see temperatures from -20 degrees F to +20 degrees F. When it snows it's usually between 0 and 20 degrees F. I'm happy with this purchase.
