-high-maintenance shoe (cleaning and leather care, although I haven't done much of this yet)
***The big drawback, is that your feet 'sweat' in them... b/c it's leather, encased in the bottom with plastic, this shoe doesn't breath, and your feet can get pretty toasty especially in the summer months... so be cognizant of that... I wasn't aware of it... and usually try to avoid wearing these for long periods of time b/c of this factor.

Comfortable and good looking

The shoe was comfortable right out of the box. It fits well, is light, and looks good. A casual shoe that can be worn to the office. I have not worn it a lot, so I can't say about durability, but I am very happy with it now.

Light weight and comfortable shoes

Was very surprised how light these shoes are. They look good with jeans and generally really pleased.

The exterior of the shoe holds up well. The shoe bottom hasn't worn out after months of wearing, which I can't say for the Bostonian brand shoes I used to buy. However, the interior could be improved. The 'Ortholite Footbed' insole is only half a centimeter thick and rests on a solid, hard surface. You might not notice it if you are walking, but if you are standing still for a couple minutes, or if you use a standing desk, your heels will start to hurt. The insoles are glued down, so I had to rip them out to replace them with some Sof Sole brand insoles, effectively adding $20 to the price of these shoes to make them comfortable.

Been wearing these for the past week, expecting that I needed to "Break them in" well didn't have to. They are comfortable, for my frequent traveling school. No binding nor gouging. I ordered at the size I normally wear for boots and sneakers (including wide). The only downside is that this style is slightly longer, more elongated towards the toe , just be aware... The benefit is that my toes have plenty of room, and I have modern, contemporary stylish pair of Comfortable dress shoes.

I really want to love this shoe. It's very stylish and incredibly comfortable. They do run a bit narrow, so I got the wide version and was very pleased with the fit. On a positive, I was able to utilize these for traveling recently all across major cities with various terrain's and they held up to the task. The downside is that the leather didn't hold it's beauty very long. Even after trying to apply leather cleaning and polish they still look VERY worn after just two months of use. I'm tempted to buy another with a plan to just ensure that I am very careful about where I wear them, but I'm not sure that I want to own shoes that I can't feel comfortable taking onto grass, dirt, etc.

Comfy and stylish!

I bought the tan and navy blue leather ones. The leather feels good and the shoes are comfortable. Both pairs do crease but that's normal with leather and it doesn't look unseemly.Some of the other reviews talk about the blue leather ones rubbing off...More
I bought the tan and navy blue leather ones. The leather feels good and the shoes are comfortable. Both pairs do crease but that's normal with leather and it doesn't look unseemly.

Some of the other reviews talk about the blue leather ones rubbing off and discoloring. I haven't experienced this after wearing them almost every day in very hot/humid weather as well as rainy northeast autumn. I also have not needed to polish them.

What I can say is that the sizing on these shoes is vastly different from the same size tan leather ones. The tan leather ones fit great. I loved them and ordered the navy blue leather. Unfortunately, I just kept them in the box past the return date w/o trying them on because they were the same size as the tan ones.

When I finally put them on and went out, I realized that they are much much bigger. I actually have 2 insoles and a heel cup placed in the navy leather 11Ws while the tan 11Ws have no insoles or anything. Other than that, they are great shoes and both the tan and navy have been rugged enough to handle my abusive daily commute.

I also have 2 of the woolen pairs. One I haven't worn at all and the navy woolen pair does have a problem being too high and cutting into the back of my ankle causing blisters, as someone else mentioned. They may just require some breaking in but I haven't worn them enough to know for sure. Other than the bleeding foot, the woolen navy pair feels and fits well :-)
