Good looking boot.

Shoes are the same numbered size but fit on the left and right are completely different. Right shoe feels one whole size bigger then the left. not sure if this is a manufacture defect or what.

Know the difference between a true water protectant and saddle soap.

Do your research, take your time and know your feet. These Are great boots.

Make sure you protect them with mink oil before you even think about wearing them. Do not use saddle soap to protect them. That is only a leather cleaner and conditioner. It alone will not protect them.

I will probably get leather conditioner to help keep the boots in good condition long term. Worth the buy!

I’ve worn quite a few different boots over the years, from Justin’s and Durango’s to Danners and other lace up options , but these were probably the only pair of boots that I’ve been able to take out of the box, throw them on and they were comfortable right away. There hasn’t really been a “break in” period with them. I’m hopeful that they’ll hold up really well, given they carry the Ariat brand, and will update if anything drastic happens. But so far I’m impressed.

These are the best quality boots I have ever purchased. Quality materials and seems as if they will last a long time. The only problem is the sizing and I took a star off of that. It took me three tries to get the ones I think will work. I normally wear an 11 but ended up with a size 10 wide and they still slip in the heel. However from what I read, cowboy style books will slip in the heel until broken in. We shall see. The books seem as if they will look great casual or dressy. I am actually going to wear them to my step sisters wedding on their ranch.

This is a really nice boot. They look great. My teenage daughter even likes them. As far as size goes they run a little large. I first ordered a pair in my usual size and they were so big they practically fell off my feet. I ordered half a size smaller and they fit good, except they are very long. Probably still a whole size too long. But I suppose that's the style of the shoe. It doesn't seem to affect wear-ability at all. Even though I got the wide size, at first they were a little tight across the ball of my foot, but within a day they stretched out and felt perfect. When they first arrived they looked nothing like the picture, just solid brown boots. But as they break in they get the creases and start to look more rugged. So far I like these boots very much.

Boot opening was too small for me

Love these boots, but the opening is too small for my foot. I have a really high top step, so it can be difficult for me to get boots on. I would definitely need pullers for these, but they don't have pull loops. Shame as I really wanted these!
